Music for Life Africa Foundation
Music for Life Africa Foundation is a community initiative that partners with local organizations to increase resilience and reduce vulnerability to poverty in all its forms—physical, psychological, and spiritual. Based in Uganda, the project provides inclusive education and community development through music and arts. This project empowers communities through education, development, and leadership to reduce poverty and build lasting resilience.
MULIA has been transforming lives in the Bbanda Bugendedala community in Uganda at the shores of Lake Victoria through music, education, and livelihood programs since 2014. Responding to the urgent needs of people with disabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic, the program focus expanded to include a strong emphasis on visually impaired students with comprehensive training for blind students, and the livelihood initiatives serve as a practical platform for fostering community inclusion.
