Salif and his family are part of the internally displaced persons who have taken refuge in Pazani, a peripheral neighborhood without water or electricity. His father was a farmer and his mother a housewife. Both are now unemployed. Like all IDPs, Karim and his family live in constant anxiety: they lack almost everything! Under the threat of terrorism, they had to leave without taking anything. Today, they beg and rely on occasional donations from some goodwill to survive. For these people, sponsorship is a real consolation; a subject of great joy and gratitude.
