About Bridges of Hope

Bridges of Hope exists to promote poverty relief and community empowerment within the poorest nations of the world.

Implementation

The mission is accomplished in cooperation with governments, donor organizations and individuals. Implementation is achieved by partnering with local businesses, spiritual leaders, individuals and indigenous organizations within the region.

Capacity Building

The goal is to build the assets of these partners to become sustainable and reproducing agents and transition from beneficiaries to benefactors.

Through partnering with local people, we focus on facilitating and supporting sustainable enterprises and institutions that can create employment and improved quality of life in the developing world.

We recognize that relief in and of itself cannot eradicate world poverty. When business thrives, the need for relief is greatly diminished. Therefore, Bridges of Hope puts a high premium on indigenous enterprises, using business creation to combat poverty.

Reality

And yet, many of our partners are so economically poor their lives are endangered and they need critical intervention before they can realize their potential. Therefore Bridges of Hope also engages in life saving relief programs such as feeding and child sponsorship as the starting point of an integrated strategy.
