GLOBAL CONNECTION EXPERIENCE EVENTS

Bridges of Hope is involved in various international programs and welcomes anyone to participate in a volunteer capacity. One of these programs is our global connection experience. These global connection experience trips achieve three objectives:

1. To create oportunity for participants to be exposed to a diversity of culture & understanding while gaining practical insight in the context of international development and poverty relief.
2. To provide participants with an opportunity to use their skills and talents to make a real and lasting difference in the developing world .
3. To resource Bridges of Hope's capacity to promote poverty relief and community empowerment amongst the poorest nations of the earth.

Our global connection experience trips are either internally designed and directed by the senior staff of Bridges of Hope International or customized to serve volunteers with special interest, experts, researchers and various internship participants requiring overseas' placement.

• Each applicant must submit a dully completed application form available electronically or by fax. We have limited space available. 
  
• Each applicant would be advised in a timely manner by email if they are approved to go on the aforementioned trip or not.  
• Because of the limited space, approved or qualified applicant may be added to our waiting list at their request.
• Unless otherwise customized, Bridges of Hope will coordinate all logistical details relating to the travel from departure to re-entry, from orientation to debriefing conversations to build energy for the next steps in the participant's journey.
  

Each participant commits to donate or raise the necessary fund toward the global connection experience event including cost for plane tickets & living cost (food, travel, mosquito net, translators) ; and above this, raise or donate at least $1000 to resource the organization and its overseas development projects. Over 30% of the organization's funding comes from its global connection experience participants. Therefore, the staff at Bridges of Hope international and its partners overseas spend countless hours organizing, coordinating, and designing these trips in order to maximize this educational experience.

Passport, Visa , vaccinations, malaria pills and personal spending money such as souvenirs are the responsibility of each participant.
